The PullRite 3100 Traditional Series SuperGlide is designed specifically for modern half-ton trucks equipped with super short 5-1/2 foot beds. Rated for 12,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 3,000 lbs pin weight, it provides up to 22-3/4 inches of automatic slide travel to maintain safe trailer clearance during sharp turns. || Unlike manual slider hitches, the SuperGlide automatically moves the trailer rearward as the truck turns and returns it over the axle when straightening out. This system allows drivers to maneuver fifth-wheel trailers without stopping to reposition the hitch before backing or turning. || The hitch features a dual-articulating head, precision laser-cut jaw system, extended release handle, and fully automatic locking mechanism. SAE J2638 tested and manufactured in the USA, the 3100 is one of the few hitch systems engineered specifically for trucks with beds shorter than six feet.
